The first Nail branding was the home-job trademark John Stallwood produced in 1995. John cut the word ‘SAIL’ out of a newspaper and glued it together with the hand-drawn ‘N’. He drew in the iconic nail, photocopied the finished product and proceeded to paste them all over Perth city.
